5th-Wheel Floor Install

Now that the painting is done, time for the floor.

Scored some real wood flooring from the house that is being remodeled... had to pull it out, but a half days work was worth it.

Set up my work shop on the ranch and as soon the paint dried I set out to work on the floor.

Trying to figure out the layout and start point. It will be a lot of cutting, corners and some weird angles. No fun if it's easy....

Couple of beers later I was on the roll. The process is pretty simple: get down - measure; get up, get out - cut; get in, get down - install....repeat the process over and over again...one board at the time.

Can not wait to be done with all these projects. Painting, flooring... I have a truck sitting and waiting for the motor rebuild...projects, projects... like a line at the grocery store.

By the end of the day the floor in the living area is almost done... the strain in my knees, back and legs are also almost done... time to call it for a day and get some iboprofein.

Day two goal is to do stairs, bathroom and bedroom. Slammed down a cold beer to ease my aching leg muscles and dove right in it...

Couple hours of: get down - measure; get up, get out - cut; get in, get down - install....repeat the process over and over again...and the stairs were done.
